Product Description

Acrylic Foam Tape Series 3M PX5008 is a grey, double-coated acrylic foam tape with very good initial and excellent final adhesion to low surface energy and medium surface energy surfaces.

 

The ZX adhesive on both sides of the tape can be used without any surface treatment to difficult substrates such as PP EPDM and MSE plastics or paints.

 

It is designed for the attachment of automotive exterior trim parts such as moldings and bumper sensors.

 

The foam core gives good wet-out properties and adaption to complex geometries.

 

Additional PX5008 offers good internal strength and good long term stability in heat and cold conditions.
