The NMN (Nomex paper/Polyester film/Nomex paper) flexible composite material has good mechanical properties, such as tensile strength and edge tear resistance, as well as good electrical strength. It is also compatible with all classes of varnishes and adhesives, transformer fluids, lubricating oils and refrigerants which is mainly used as insulation function in various industries. They're mainly used for slot, slot cover and phase insulation in low-voltage motors.
In addition, it can also be used as interlayer insulation for transformers or other electrical appliances.
